Catalyst Spring Symposium- Looking at the big picture: the application of “-omics” techniques in health and disease
What: Hear new research, network with colleagues, enjoy lunch, and support the research of students and post-doctoral fellows. Featuring two scientific sessions with 6 speakers, free lunch, snacks and coffee, and poster presentations.

When: Friday, March 20th from 10:00am-4:40pm
Where: Kannapolis City Hall ( 401 Laureate Way, Kannapolis NC 28081)
Why: View the latest research in talks, panels, and posters; gain experience by presenting your research; participate in a poster competition; network with researchers from universities and companies from across the Carolinas.

Learn to Analyze Your Data in R
- Loops and Map Functions
Who: Everyone on campus!

: Learn how to use R in your data analysis! The webinar this month will focus on using vectors in R, as well as exploring options for getting help while using R.

When: Wednesday March 25th, 3:30-5:00pm

: NRI room 1331
What to do: Register to attend here! Please bring your own laptop. We will have charging stations.

Research Participants Needed - Taste and Tolerance on an Oral Nutrition Supplement

Who: The Standard Process Nutrition Innovation Center 

What: A research study investigating the taste and tolerance of an Oral Nutrition Supplement. Participants will eat 2 to 6 wafers for 10 consecutive days, answer two questionnaires, and complete daily GI questionnaires and food frequency logs. 

 

Where: Nutrition Innovation Center - 150 N. Research Campus Dr, Ste 1110, Kannapolis, NC 28081

Who: 18-75 year old males or females who are generally healthy, with no chronic conditions
